Fetchy Brand Mascot Holding Box of Files

A simple guide to using Fetchy so you can start saving and finding things right away.

One-Page Guide: How to Use Fetchy

How to Save Notes

Fetchy is not a typical chatbot.
Text Fetchy more like you are saving things to yourself.

What You Can Save

  • Text Notes

  • Images

  • Links

How to Text It

Write short, natural notes with just enough context to recognize it later.

  • “recipe, easy dinner, www.allrecipes.com"

  • “watch, gift idea for Maya.”

  • "movie, lilo and stitch"

What Should You Save?

Use Fetchy for anything that doesn’t have a clear home—or that you don’t want to lose.

Some common things to save:

  • Things that don’t have a home yet
Random ideas, thoughts, or “I’ll deal with this later” items

  • Things you come back to often
    Recipes, routines, links, reference info

  • Ideas you don’t want to forget
Business ideas, jokes, content ideas, plans

  • Things for specific people
Gift ideas, things to tell someone, shared plans

  • Stuff you might need later
    Articles, screenshots, products, places

  • Ongoing life info
School info, health notes, work ideas, family logistics

  • Quick reminders (even if not formal reminders)
“buy batteries,” “look into this,” “ask Sarah about this”

If you think, “I might need this later” → save it.

How to Set Reminders

Tell Fetchy what you want to be reminded about and when.

Write it naturally—like you would text yourself.
Fetchy will save it and bring it back at the right time.

You can also include a link or image with your reminder.

Examples

“Remind me daily to check my kid’s backpack.”

“Remind me every week to review school emails.”

“Remind me monthly to update my budget.”

“Remind me every year to renew my membership.”

Supported Reminder Types

  • Specific date/time

  • Daily

  • Weekly

  • Biweekly

  • Monthly

  • Yearly

Limitations (For Now)

  • Custom reminder intervals, like "every 3 days"

  • Location-based reminders

  • Conditional reminders, like “remind me if I have not done this yet”

  • Multi-step reminder sequences

  • Multiple reminders in one text message

How to Retrieve Notes & View Reminders

Fetchy Brand Mascot Holding Clipboard

Ask Fetchy to “Fetch” + anything you remember about what you’re looking for.

You don’t need exact titles—just use keywords, a topic, a person, or a rough description.

Examples

  • “Fetch ADHD routines”

  • “Fetch gift ideas for Maya”

  • “Fetch that article about fundraising”

  • “Fetch school notes for my kid”

What Happens Next

Fetchy will return:

  • A single item (if there’s a clear match), or

  • A list of matching items

What You Can Do

Once you see results, you can:

Expand an item
If you see a list, reply with the number to view the full note.

“2”

Remove an item
Delete something you no longer need.

“remove 3”

Refine your search

If it’s not quite right, just search again with better context.

How to Correct Fetchy

Fetchy does its best to understand what you mean—but sometimes he may get it wrong.

For example, he might treat

  • A save is a reminder

  • A reminder is a fetch

  • A fetch is a save, etc.

When this happens, you can fix it instantly.

Use Reaction Emojis
Instead of rewriting your message, just react to it.

Each emoji tells Fetchy what you meant:

🗂️ = This is a save
⏰ = This is a reminder
🔍 = This is a fetch (search/retrieve)
🗑️ = This should be deleted

How It Works
1. Send your message
2. If it’s wrong, react with the correct emoji
3. Fetchy updates it automatically
3. Fetchy will update how it interprets your request
